Your well-bbeing rate
I am pretty good in my physical well-being area just a little out shape but still able to run my two mile pretty well and push-ups and sit-ups for the army. My spiritual well-being could be a little better when I find a church to attend since moving to a new area. Well my psychological well-being is good since talking with a therapists about past events in my life. Overall I think my well-being is around a 8 and the reason is because I am actually pretty good at maintaining my healthy eating habits and exercising. I want to be in better shape I want to be able to run my two mile in 9 minutes. In my spiritual side I want to be able to have more inner peace. My psychological side I want to be less angry toward people. I think meditating more or doing more breathing exercises can help me be more calm. I think it was frustrating for me because we do these exercises in resilience training and it frustrates me to hear it again.

Reuben what about the meditation exercises do you find frustrating. Also, Reuben have you ever read the book Emotional intelligence, the author is Goleman? While I was reading it, it helped me to realize that I had poor conflict resolution and have since taken steps to improve upon it. Reuben do you have any exercised or steps in mind to help you work on inner peace?
ReplyDeleteHello Rueben,
ReplyDeleteGreat blog! I see you were in the military; I was too for 6 years. We are similar in some areas of our wellness. Do you think the psychological wellness puts your other wellness in a vulnerable state? What do you do in the resilience training that frustrates you? This relaxation exercise was a form of mediation, which you wanted to incorporate more of that in your life. What made the exercise so frustrating was it the tone or the activities associate with the exercise? Good luck on your wellness, because I know you on the right path to achieve it and stay focus don’t let any negativity deter your pathway to happiness, wholeness, and good health!
Hello Rueben,
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say, two miles is great start. Each day will get better, I myself just reached up to 4 miles and I am so proud. Therapy is always good to have. It is always better out than in. I see a therapy as well, due to the passing of my son. We all need that little support once in a while. I would love to try mediation, but with four kids, full time job/school and being a wife, I don’t know what time is.
It was great reading your post.
