Living A long Life

In our society we deal and handle a enormous amount of stress. In order to deal with that stress we need to take time out of our schedule to do breathing exercises or a deep meditation to relax our body and mind. When we accomplish this we will have less stress to deal with and accomplish our duties with a positive attitude.

    1. I agree… I use diaphragmatic breathing and meditation exercises to relived the overstimulation of my mind. For myself the first step to realizing that I was under stress, instead of incurring the symptoms of stress as part of everyday life, was to stop a comprehend that my mind was overstimulated from school work, being on the computer most of the day, and not being able to use good time management. My stress causes headaches and muscle tension. Being able to take two to three 10 minute breaks out of my day to clear my mind helps to refocus on myself and my environment as well as release the stress building up from the day.

  3. Stress is the silent killer. It is also almost 100% controllable. The saying can hold truth and are folklore to help us. One I am trying is "don't sweat the petty stuff".
